HITESOL invites you to our Annual Hawai‘i TESOL Conference! Our theme for the 2026 conference, “Building Connected Classrooms: Technology, Culture, and Communication,” encourages us to consider how we can foster connections amongst our students, colleagues, and community. Please join us Feb. 14 for a day of inspiring workshops, engaging presentations, and insightful conversation as we meet to deepen our knowledge and improve our practice.
We are honored and delighted to welcome Prof. Marta González-Lloret as our keynote speaker. Her keynote address “Connecting Cultures Online: Virtual Exchanges as a Sociopragmatic Learning Spaces.” An expert in technology, task-based language teaching, and pragmatics, Dr. González-Lloret’s keynote will expand our understanding of learning contexts beyond the traditional classroom.
The 2026 conference is an IN PERSON event, although there will be a limited number of online presentations available for presenters and attendees unable to attend on-site. To ensure meal availability, please register by February 7, 2026. Registrations received after that date will not be guaranteed lunch. We look forward to learning and socializing with all of you on the beautiful BYUH campus!
